Site/ Lineage/ Edition
“Rosat de na Margalida” is a blend of many distinctive grape varieties and represents a small municipality in Mallorca! The rosé is the semi-dry counterpart to “den Mateu” and is described by the cellar master as “liquid gold”. Here, too, each grape variety brings its own character. Merlot is the gentle counterpart to Cabernet and offers a wide spectrum of aromas of plum, black cherry and raspberry. Cabernet also often shows up in rosé in a vegetal style and brings spice. Spain’s superstar Tempranillo shows itself with dark fruit, warm notes and slightly cesty aromas, additionally bristling with elegant acidity. Gorgollassa as a native grape variety that had almost disappeared from the island. This variety is exciting because of its fruity, sweet taste.

After harvesting, the wine was classically vinified, blended and bottled.

Tasting notes
In the glass, a dark, salmon-coloured rosé with golden-orange complexes. On the nose, orange juice, pomegranate, a little orleander, subtle cinnamon tones, grapfruit juice, dark berries and mint make themselves felt. On the palate, this is confirmed, but replaced by a palette of aromas reminiscent of sweet fruit compote. The acidity is moderate to the residual sweetness in the wine and brings out a nice interplay of fruit, some molasses and white pepper. The herbaceous aroma is a nice finish.
