Son Cavaller Navarra Crianza
Site/ Line/ Edition
Spanish wines may only bear the name “Crianza” after they have matured for two years and been aged for several months in oak barrels. This Tempranillo, probably Spain’s best-known red grape variety, presents itself in a deep, dense purple. Its accentuated bouquet contains aromas of dark cherries, figs, dark chocolate, vanilla and black pepper.
After harvesting, the grapes were fermented and aged in wooden barrels before bottling.
Powerful and full-bodied in the mouth, the fruit aromas are confirmed, with notes of cedar and a hint of smoky coffee. Wonderfully balanced tannin structure, a wine full of elegance, finesse and depth. To show its full potential, it is recommended to decant this wine.
Braised beef shoulder, pointed cabbage, peppers and lentils
Oven roasted chicken with aniseed, oranges, onions, garlic and rice
Red wine risotto with pistachios, radicchio and caramelised goat’s cheese
